How I can start training my dog to hunt?
I have a German Pointer and HES shorthaird almost four months. I purchased the Quail Starter Bass Pro Shop Pack. It came with a scent of quail, a long strap, and a fictional canvas. What now? Should I put perfume on the dummy on canvas? So what? Not all information helps, thanks
Catahoula us. when we smell, we began treatment with a little scented truly love (always use the same treatment). we will get the aroma, then place a few feet in front of them. make them stay, then I say go get it. we move a little more and a little more when they sit, stay, receive treatment as usual, began to hide (ie, behind a chair, just below the foot of the bed) start to close it, and if they do, try to hide. and begins to obscure two things at once, in tight spaces, but not so close to each other. eventually find things in pots in the other room, or under the bath mat. when they go down, we begin to deal with the perfume. and the weather, traffic become smaller and the flavor becomes stronger, until just use scented lures. the rewared then goes to a treat to eat, to praise, because they find the scent / lure. with a puppy, keep the sessions short and Construction (3 minutes to start up to 5 minutes and so on). if you are bored, which is detrimental to training.
